Ken Ekvall started Ekvall Engineering, Inc. in 1970 offering customing machining services to central Minnesota companies. Ken's reputation quickly grew and was working for companies located throughout the US and Canada. Ken specilized in racing engines for snowmobiles and custom machined parts for a wide variety of manufacturing and assembly line molders and welders.

In 1990, his sons Lance and Doug joined the company. Doug was head mechanic for a F2000 racing team for five years. Lance has experience in heavy industry manufacturing and production.

All together, Ken, Lance and Doug offer a combined 60 years of engineering experience.
